At Country Trails, our vision is simple: to provide exclusive, off-highway access to our stunning rural farm, offering you and your horse an unforgettable riding experience. Nestled just outside the heart of Colchester, our trails boast breathtaking views of the North Essex coastal countryside, immersing you in the beauty of nature with every stride.

We've designed our experience to be as seamless and flexible as possible. With a range of trail lengths to choose from, you can mix and match routes during your Morning or Afternoon session, tailoring your adventure to suit your pace. Simply book online, arrive with your horse, saddle up, and explore the vast network of well-marked trails—clearly signposted with our iconic markers.

Our Morning sessions begin as early as 6:00 AM, allowing you to arrive at your leisure and enjoy Country Trails right through until lunch. For those who prefer a slower pace, our Afternoon sessions run from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM—perfect for relaxed rides and the chance to catch a stunning sunset over the fields.

Whether you prefer a gentle hack or a peaceful lead, our trails feature a mix of field and concrete track surfaces, making them ideal for riders of all levels. At Country Trails, the journey is yours to create—explore, unwind, and experience the countryside like never before.
