Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring someone with me if I've booked one horse?

Yes, absolutely. If you've booked a ride and would like someone to walk the trails with you, they're welcome to come along. We simply ask that if you've booked for one horse, only one horse attends the session.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs may be permitted at our discretion. If you'd like to bring your dog along, please email info@country-trails.co.uk before booking so we can discuss your visit and make sure it's suitable for everyone using the trails.

Do I need to book in advance?

We accept both advance bookings and last-minute bookings, subject to availability. We ask for a minimum of 3 hours' notice if a time slot is showing as available on our booking system, it's available to book – whether you're planning ahead or looking for a last-minute ride.

How long are the routes?

We have a total of 8KM of trails made up of 5 different routes.

 

Is there parking for horseboxes and trailers?

Yes we have good hard standing parking facilities off of Langenhoe Hall Lane, where we can accommodate approx 4 horse boxes comfortably.

 

Is water available on site?

Yes, there is a water trough for horses to drink from.

Are there toilet facilities?

There are currently no toilet facilities on site, so we recommend planning ahead before you arrive. As a private off-road riding venue, our facilities are currently limited, with the focus being on providing a peaceful and enjoyable riding experience. 
 

Is there somewhere to tie up or prepare my horse?

Yes. There is a designated area next to the car park at the start of the trails where you can safely tie up, tack up and get ready before setting off on your ride. With mounting blocks. This area is also fenced off.

Do you offer loyalty discounts?

Not just yet, but it's something we're currently working on. We're always looking for ways to reward our regular riders, so keep an eye on our social media and website for future updates.
